Act for culture in Europe!

The 10th of May will be one of the important days in 2012 for EU cultural policy: on that day all EU Ministers for Culture will meet to discuss the proposal for the next EU Culture Programme 'Creative Europe' 2014-2020.

With a modest budget increase that is significant in percentage-terms, the proposal conveys a very strong message from the EU in times of general budget cut-backs: investing in culture, heritage and the arts is crucial to help get Europe back on its feet.
